When I came to, I was in a bamboo grove.
I was in a state of torpor, so I didn't know where I was and couldn't remember who I was.
There was a bell on a bamboo branch, swaying in the wind and ringing.
Still fascinated, I picked up this somewhat strange bell and hung it around my neck. "Home."
I started walking through the bamboo grove.
It was then that the wind suddenly fluttered around me, and when I looked back at that moment, I saw a small pale hand.
"Master... is that you...?".
A fox girl was standing there. She was crying and seemed very happy.

The fox Shua longs for the protagonist Kaito as they live in the forest near a pond, the mountain deity Mim interferes with Kaito and Shua, and the grim reaper Karin almost accidentally kills Kaito.

Once they meet, the sad fate of the fox and the boy repeats.
Can Kaito, who has lost his memories, stand against this fate?

"The Fox Awaits Me" is a visual novel with choices and multiple endings, featuring beautiful Live2D animation, that oscillates between sadness, high-energy comedy, and fear.
