Super Mario Galaxy has that revolutionary touch that characterized the famous Super Mario 64 and, perfecting the gameplay style of the past, shows us the future of platformers.

Whether you're a seasoned player of the series or this is your first adventure with Mario, you'll be able to jump lively from planet to planet thanks to the motion sensors and pointing features of the controller. Mario's new move - the spin attack - is performed by quickly shaking the Wii Remote. It's one of the most versatile moves in the game that can help Mario in many of his endeavors. In addition, the Wii Remote's pointer is used to collect Star Bits, which can then be thrown to hit enemies.

Another innovation related to the pointer is the new Co-Star Mode. In this mode, a second player can interact with the environment and help the player controlling Mario, blocking enemies and throwing Star Bits. The second player can also collaborate with their gaming partner to help Mario perform some particularly challenging jumps.
