The Resident Evil Revelations 2 story begins with the return of series favorite Claire Redfield. A survivor of the Raccoon City incident depicted in previous Resident Evil games, Claire now works for the anti-bioterrorism organization Terra Save.

Moira Burton, is attending her welcome party for Terra Save when unknown armed forces storm the office.

Claire and Moira are knocked unconscious in the attack and wake up later to find themselves in a dark and abandoned detention facility.

Working together, they must find out who abducted them and for what purpose. With the terrifying Afflicted lurking around every corner, players will need to use their weapons and ammunition wisely, in the best tradition of survival horror games. Can Claire and Moira stay alive and uncover who deported them to this remote island?

Who will they meet on their journey? A story full of twists and turns that will keep the player on the edge of their seat, step by step.

-A new type of enemy – Not as naive as zombies, but the horrifying structure of the 'Afflicted' shows how fast and deadly they can be even with simple weapons. A real threat. 

-Single or co-op play – Players will have to switch between characters to progress through the game in either single-player mode, with AI assistance, or in offline co-op mode for two players. Use Moira's flashlight to temporarily blind the enemy, allowing Claire to take them out!
