An innovative twist
The game Pokémon Legends: Arceus honors the gameplay mechanics that characterize Pokémon games, while introducing new RPG and action elements.

In a distant era, you'll have to catch and study wild Pokémon to create and complete the first Pokédex of the Sinnoh region.

Catch Pokémon
To catch Pokémon in the game Pokémon Legends: Arceus, you can observe them to learn their behaviors, then sneak up, aim with your Poké Ball, and throw it!

You can also have your Pokémon battle wild Pokémon you hope to catch. Simply throw the Poké Ball containing your Pokémon near a wild Pokémon to instantly start a battle and control your Pokémon by choosing from its known moves.

An adventure in ancient Sinnoh
You will find yourself in Sinnoh, the region where the games Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl are set. This story takes place in a distant era, when no one yet imagined that one could become a Pokémon Trainer or that a Pokémon League could exist.

All around you will find wild Pokémon living in inhospitable places, in a Sinnoh very different from that of the period in which the games Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl are set.

Meet your first adventure companion
When you begin your adventure to create the very first Pokédex of the region, you can choose Rowlet, Cyndaquil, or Oshawott as your first adventure companion.

These three Pokémon arrived with a Pokémon Professor who met them during his research travels in various regions.?
